The BW Rig Rat system is known internationally for its simplicity and reliable operation. This system is comprised of two components. The first component is the controller that is interfaced to a strobe/horn bar. The second component is a detector that can be interfaced with up to two sensors. In the event where a sensor reaches a gas alarm level, the detector of that sensor wirelessly trips the controller into alarm resulting in a flashing strobe and a sounding horn. It is this basic concept that so many companies have come to confidently rely on in monitoring areas with potential gas leaks.
