Firemaster is proud to offer specialized industrial training courses throughout North America. From basic first aid, to advanced high angle rescue, we can create a program to suit your training needs. Our highly trained instructors and professional atmosphere provide a comfortable and engaging learning experience for all of our students.
As with most industries we understand that techniques and procedures evolve. This is why our trainers are continuously advancing their skills so that their knowledge and expertise of current industry practices can be passed to our students.
We are certified instructors of the Enform Fall Protection for Rig Workers, Rig Work Fall Rescue, & H2S Alive courses. Coming soon to our class line up is Enform – Detection & Control of Flammable Substances Training.
From our Red Deer location we host regular scheduled Enform H2S Alive Courses, Red Cross Standard First Aid Level C/CPR-AED and IRP 18/ Directive 33 combined fire training. We can also provide the First Aid out of province jurisdiction training for BC.
We have included an extensive selection of on-line training options; this allows individuals to take classes from their own computer. We offer an approved Alberta OH&S approved first aid course; the theory is completed on your computer and the practical is to be completed at our facility in Red Deer; with-in 90 days.
Leaders in Mobile Training Services
Firemaster has a fleet of innovative and diverse mobile training simulation equipment. This gives us the ability to bring our training services to you. We operate a fully mobile Confined Space Rescue simulator, Live-Fire training simulator and our state of the art Rig Rescue and Rig-Tank rescue training simulation system. This equipment along with our highly skilled instructors makes training possible in remote locations.
Firemaster’s Fire Training Grounds
An asset that sets us apart from other companies is our own fire training grounds. This specialized training area is located near our head office in Red Deer. The facility features 15 live-fire training props. It is an ideal location that provides a safe area in which to learn techniques from; dry chemical fire extinguishing use, to the advanced aggressive hose handling and foam application. This facility is also used to train our staff, oilfield service workers and firefighters.
At Firemaster we understand that there are training courses that are good but often would be great if they were customized to your unique situations. We offer site-specific training within all of our courses. This gives us the ability to deliver a more meaningful training program that not only abides to current safety regulations and legislations but goes the extra step and incorporates specific company policies and procedures in which we are provided with. This customization is often provided to our clients for no additional fee.
Please keep in mind that there are an increasing number of safety regulations, legislations and code to refer to in order to assist you in making the correct choices for your safety and rescue training. Be sure to look on our monthly calendar on our website for the dates and times of all classes being held. If the course you are interested in is not listed on our calendar at this time. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what type of training you are looking for. We can create a custom training plan for your needs. If there is enough interest in a certain class we may be able to schedule a new class or email you when the next available class is being held.
